Sebazira Amatutule is originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, at the age of 19 he left his country fleeing from the violence between the DRC government and local rebels. He ended up in a refugee camp in Uganda where he lived for 20 years. He met his wife, had two children and divorced in that camp. He and his children came to San Diego as refugees in June of 2015. Sebazira works as a landscaper for a company that takes care of hotels and resorts in the San Diego bay. He is happy and thankful for his work and is interested in becoming a nursing assistant in the future. They are adjusting to life in the U.S. slowly and tentatively and looking forward to their future in the U.S.
